Mr. Baba Sulemana began his career with the Urban League of Hudson County Inc. In 2000 as the organization’s Contact Administrator. A public accountant with extensive knowledge in nonprofit organizations, Mr. Sulemana would prove himself to be an asset to the agency. In a few short years, he would earn a promotion to Accounting Manager in 2002 before climbing the ladder again to become the Controller and Fiscal Officer in 2005. In 2015 he was named Acting CFO before officially becoming ULOHC’s Chief Financial Officer in 2017, where he remains.
Baba Sulemana holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland, A MS in Accounting, and an MBA in Finance from Saint Peter’s University. Mr. Sulemana resides in Jersey City with his wife and two daughters.
