
The Education and Youth Development Department works to improve life outcomes and educational opportunity for Hudson County youth through afterschool programs, academic achievement initiatives, mentoring programs and youth leadership development opportunities. We've been doing so for over thirty years.
Our goal is to assist young people to realize their potential. We want all children to be prepared for school success, ready for employment, and self-sufficient.
Our programs are based on recognized youth development practices and foster the development of self-esteem. This year our students have studied history served as movie reviewers and mounted two photography exhibits for the community.
